As I sit here, gazing out the window looking at the surreal view of the spectacular city of Washington, D.C. I would like to write all that I see and feel, but I am short on words. It feels as if I am in a dream where I have been introduced to a broader range of people and an amazing culture.
On Friday 15th of November, we were fortunate to be part of an amazing experience. We went to Takoma Education Campus where we spent time with children and helped them produce collaborative art work. They were able to get a hand on not only creating and producing something meaningful but were also able to learn about us and our culture.
After a successful workshop, we went to The Phillips Collection where our work is on display and we are very enthusiastic about it. I will keep you all updated, but for now that’s all I have to share.
