6 Must Things To Do On A Time Crunch Trip

Before arriving here I had pegged D.C as one of the very boring and  straight laced cities, with people doing their power walks  and having their gazillionth cup of Starbucks coffee, all suited up on their way to probably sit in a U.N session or whatever it is that they do, but D.C turned out to be a complete contradiction to the robotic city that I had imagined in my mind , for a person like myself, while much of my movement was centered in DuPont the city still wove its magic nonetheless and lo and behold you have a  hub of art and culture, people from all  over the world, ethnicities, size, shape coming together *much like back home* put them together and what you have is the most amazing experience EVER.
A couple of things are a must if you want to have fun and your time is short.

Go Exploring 1) Go ExploringDon’t just sit in your hotel room GO OUT .Take in as much as you can. Grab the stuff that is most essential and just go.
Get Lost 2) Get LostDon’t be afraid of getting lost, the best experiences you will have are when you are too busy being miserable you are cold, weary and your feet ache from walking around the same block for past 20 minutes or so, but it is definitely worth an experience and one of those things that everyone should jot down in their things to do list.
Talk to Strangers 3) Talk to StrangersYes! Strange as it sounds TALK TO STRANGERS, strike up a conversation with someone you don’t know and wait for the fun to begin. Asking for directions with a smile can go a long way and you might meet someone you never thought you would.
Go To Johnny Rockets 4) Go To Johnny RocketsJohnny rockets should be MUST on everyone’s list. The food and ambience is amazing the decor is very 1950’s dinner places with sounds of chucky berry or Aretha Franklin drifting in your ears every now and then but the most amazing thing is when all the servers break out into a dancing number join them in their dancing IT IS THE MOST FUN you will EVER have.
Stop and Listen 5) Stop and Listen
There are going to be sidewalk musicians all over, your job is to stay, listen and appreciate them. They are usually the best musicians you will ever hear. Remember to throw them a buck or two for the common love of music.
Expect the Unexpected 6) Expect the UnexpectedOh! Yes! Things will happen that will knock you off your feet so expect the unexpected to happen and JUST HAVE FUN.
